308 GTB Quattrovalvole

First Registered August 20th 1985 to Elton John (Billy Bongo) who then sold the car to his manager John Reid in 1987.

Nick came to know of the car and purchased it 1994 and soon after it was sold to an ex pat working in HK. The car remained with us in storage and had occasional use on the owners returned to the UK.

On accepting a job offer in Australia in 2004 it was decided the car was to be shipped to start the new beginning in the land down under.

Located in Queensland the car was maintained by Ferrari Specialist's Maranello auto specialist and Enzotec. It was mainly to used attend the local Ferrari owners club events. It was reported to be the only 308 GTB QV in Australia at the time.

The owners and the car returned to the UK in 2017 and travelled back on the container ship with the car and all their belongs, a 6 week trip at sea (no cabaret in the evening). On reaching the UK the 308 was returned to be stored and maintained with our company. It was lovely to be reacquainted with an old friend and it has remained with us ever since. The car once again was collected for the occasional trip in the summer months and returned to us or storage. Whatever the required in terms of maintenance (which has always been minimal) was carried out in good time before the car was used summer trips.

The decision was made by the owner after nearly 30 years of owner ship it was time for something more modern and the Blue 360 spider that was it exchanged for now resides in our storage facility.

Now in our ownership the 308 will be treated to the NCSC preparation prior to sale.

With great history and known provenance from new this highly original un-molestered 308 is amongst an elite few examples remaining in this condition.
