We have just purchased this early 328 GTS after a 19 year ownership with its previous owners. Although the car was mainly stored during the later years of his ownership the car was still bought out to keep the MOT's up to date, verifying the cars mileage and keep things turning over. The car is in excellent original condition and a credit to its 5 former keepers. It has all book, tools kits, jack and keys complete.
Now in our ownership we are looking forward to our next 328 project. This will include a major service and mechanical inspection. The car will then be allocated its own space in our work shop to begin the preparation and detailing.
A full suspension overhaul has been carried out which has included:
New metailistic bushes all round
Freshly powdercoated wishbones, anti roll bars and springs.
Recalibrated shock absorbers.
Rezinc plate nut/bolts/washes and yolks.
The engine bay has been meticulously detailed with many hours of work involved to achieve this standard. Before and after pictures show this transformation.
The paint work has been subject to flatting and polishing over a week period. The result is fabulous and exceeded our expections as our intial opinion was the car may need a repaint.
We have also carried out minor body work to the O/S A post as the photos show.
