We were blessed with fabulous weather for rounds 2 and 3 of the Pirelli Ferrari Formula Classic at Oulton Park . There was close racing throughout the field and especially exiting at the sharp end watching the 355's of Wayne Marrs, Tim Mogdride, Tris Simpson, Nigel Jenkins and the 328 GTB of Gary Culver dicing for the lead. The eventual winner of both races was Wayne Marrs. Nigel Jenkins was first over the line in race two after an impressive charge from the back of the grid but was demoted to second after a five second penalty for exceeding track limits. Regardless he was justly awarded driver of the day after this great display of driving. Nick had two solid races finishing 9th in the first races and 8th in the second giving him to 2nd places in his group 4 class.
