This weekend is round 5 & 6 of the Pirelli Ferrari formula classic at Silverstone and part of the MG live meeting. The classic will be running alongside the Pirelli Open so both races will be a rolling start.
If the last round at Donington is anything to go by it will be another great race and Jim will be hoping to keep up with the awesomely quick Competizione Daytona of Tim Summers. Nick is showing good form this year and will be looking to finish up at the sharp end and our latest newcomer to the series Paul Griffin will be racing his stunning NCSC prepared 308 fibreglass car. Nick is also is taking part in a 50 minute endurance in this delightful 1958 Cooper Monaco sharing the drive with 308 racer Paul Griffin. Nick managed a few laps around Silverstone this week to familiarize himself with the car describing it as a bit scary. This particular Cooper Monaco has a very interesting racing background and has been raced by drivers such as Jack Brabham and Denny Hulme.
